About

Hello and thank you for visiting Plume by Cheryl today...I'm very happy you're here.
A little about me before you start browsing...
My first experience with polymer clay was in the mid-1990's when it came to my rescue to complete a project which needed a lot of big buttons.  But it wasn't until several years later that I took it up again wanting to create my own unique beads and components to make jewellery to sell at local craft markets.  In the years since have been spent learning the many, many techniques which can be applied to polymer clay, perfecting the techniques and my finishes.
I live on 5 bushy acres in Darwin's rural area with my husband, our sweet red dog,  Jax, and some chooks. We are visited by an amazing array of local bird-life...from curlews to black cockatoos, kingfishers to the sweetest little snowy-white owls, to name just a few.  It was the pretty feathers that birds use to attract their mates that lead to the naming of my little business.
So, here we are!  I hope you'll find just what you're looking for, but I'm only an email away if you have something else in mind…I love to do commissions 😊
